External self-awareness – It is the capacity to perceive how others see you. Individuals who know how others see them are ordinarily more compassionate. Leaders who can perceive how their representatives see them are generally more compelling and have a more grounded association with their workers.
The Four Self-Awareness Archetypes

- Seekers– This set of individuals don’t yet know who they are, what they stand for, or how their group sees them. As a result, they might feel stuck or disappointed with their performance and relationships.
- Pleasers– They can be so focused on appearing a certain way to others that they could be neglecting what makes a difference to them. Over time, they tend to make choices that aren’t in service of their success and satisfaction.
- Introspection– This set of people are sure about who they are but don’t challenge their perspective or search for weaknesses by getting feedback from others. This can hurt their relationships and limit their achievements.
- Aware.- They know who they are, what the thing that they need to achieve, and seek out and value others’ opinions. This is where leaders begin to fully realize the genuine advantages of self-awareness. It is very important to know the quadrant you fall into, it helps you know yourself better.
Which Skills Are Related To Self-Awareness?
Identifying your feelings – Your students must be able to recognize their feelings. Students can learn the disparity between frustration and anger to navigate their emotions. They can address these sentiments and respond to them properly by acknowledging the link between their feelings, thoughts, and actions.
An honest look at yourself – If your students learn to look honestly, they can react openly and candidly to compliments, feedback, and critique. This sense of self teaches them to see and recognize the positive and the negative things in their existence.
